William Allen High School NJROTC junior Llyron Cornwall was recently selected to participate in the Navy’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) seminar to be held at the University of San Diego, California July 15-22, 2012. Cornwall is one of the 160 cadets chosen out of the approximately 84,000 cadets in NJROTC to participate in this all-expenses-paid program. Selected based on his academic performance, leadership ability and interest in engineering, Cornwall is the first William Allen student to be selected in three years. He is currently a platoon commander and leads the physical fitness and drill teams.
