Katie Kalupson ’11 has been honored at Carnegie Hall in New York City where she received a prestigious National Scholastic Art and Writing Award for her short story, “The Graveyard Court.”
Originally, in the Scholastic Writing Awards, “The Graveyard Court” received a Gold Key Award and Kalupson was also chosen as one of five students who were recognized as an American Voices nominee. Kalupson’s story moved to the national level for review where it earned an American Voices Award. Her work will be forwarded to nationally renowned authors and publishers.
