Clarion Area SD (Clarion Co.)

Clarion Area sophomore Noah Lingwall earned first place representing the Mid-Atlantic Region in the fifth annual “Being an American” essay contest. The national competition was sponsored by the Bill of Rights Institute. Noah received a plaque and $5,000 on March 22 in the nation’s capital. More than 80,000 students participated in this contest.
