Allentown SD Dieruff HS cheerleaders make strides for the American Cancer Society

On October 29, Dieruff HS cheerleaders braved the rain, sleet and snow to travel to the American Cancer Society Making Strides walk in Bethlehem, setting up, registering participants and cheering the walkers all the way to the finish.
Earlier in October, the cheerleaders also rallied on walkers at the Susan G. Koman walk, the third largest all-women 5K in the country and the largest in Pennsylvania.
The girls sold bracelets, ribbons, pledge cards and collected donations at home football games and wore pink in support for the cause. All of the funds are being donated to the American Cancer Society.
